Lotta Nieminen is an illustrator, graphic designer, and art director from Helsinki, Finland. In 2010, she received the Art Directors Club Young Guns award. The Book Depository Ltd.UK. “My work is colourful, generous, detailed and geometric with an affinity for a tactile feel,” says Lotta. “I find it easier to play with colours and patterns in illustration than in graphic design, where my taste is much more simple.” Working on editorial, packaging and advertising briefs, Lotta is keen to work on as many mediums as possible. After working for fashion magazine Trendi, Pentagram Design, and RoAndCo Studio, she now runs her own New York-based studio. With her natural eye for graphic design, her work as an illustrator is exceptionally well put-together, drawing her attention from clients all over the world.
